Being born under the Gemini sign (Zwilling) I have lots of
hobbies, passions, and diversions when not at work!
- Dogs - We've had Samoyeds for 18 years, and now have a
crazy English Springer Spaniel named Samuel von Lerchenwald! Check

owned and operated by my brother-in-law, Heiner Popp. The
best English Springer Spaniel breeder in Germany, if not Europe!
- Tennis - I'm a big tennis nut, and currently vice-president
of our local tennis club. Check out the action!
- Photography - I've recently rekindled my love of
photography, and have lots of photos in my Gallery, plus my nephew's
great photo web site:

- Volunteering - I am on the board of two
professional organizations, and am Webmaster of the home page of one
of them! Check out the SuperLinks page to great resources or the
substance abuse news page, updated daily.
- Music - I'm not a musician but wish I could play
the piano or bass guitar. I grew up with music at home, and enjoy all
types, from classical to country, even Bavarian KrautRock! Got this
great site from my old buddy Manfred Schmidt. Check out this
great music!
- Videos/Films - Been a collector of good movies in
English for years and my wife and I are now in to DVDs. Our library
is well used by a few German friends who enjoy the movies in the
original English. I've recently started using Netflix, a DVD rental
service, with lots of good old movies that I can't get over here in
Germany.

- Autos - I love cars and everything about them! Below is one
of my favorite car- related web sites, as I drove an Audi A6 Quattro up until August '02, and am now patiently waiting for a new S80 D5 Volvo to be built in Sweden!
- Travel - I'm a big travel buff. Karin and I love traveling,
especially Italy. Below is a great travel site for booking tickets, or
just to find out information on your destination.

as I've been with the government. Below
